Terms and conditions
By accessing this website and registering for the International Conference on Speech Technology and Human-Computer Dialogue (SpeD 2027), you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. All purchases, registrations, and transactions are governed by applicable Romanian legislation. Please read the policies on payment, registration confirmation, refunds, and data protection before proceeding.
Payment methods
You can pay securely online using a personal or company card through PlatiOnline. Accepted cards: VISA (Classic and Electron) and MASTERCARD (including Maestro, if they have CVV2/CVC2). No additional fees are charged for transactions.
Card data is processed exclusively on PlatiOnline servers via a secure, encrypted connection. Your bank statement will show the transaction as: Fundatia Electronica 2000.
Payment details will be published on the registration page when registration opens.
Registration confirmation
Your registration for SpeD 2027 will be validated as soon as the registration fee payment is confirmed in the Fundatia Electronica 2000 account. An invoice for the registration fee will be issued and delivered by email within 10 working days. Confirmation of participation will be sent electronically after successful registration.
Refund policy
- Registrations cancelled more than 10 working days before SpeD 2027 are eligible for a refund of the registration fee paid, minus online payment processing and banking fees.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the conference organizers.
- Reimbursements will be processed within 30 days of receiving the refund request.
- Refunds are not available for cancellations made less than 10 working days before the event.
Data protection and privacy policy
The organizers are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Data collected
During registration we collect: full name and affiliation (institution or company); email address and phone number; billing information (address, tax ID if applicable); and payment details, processed securely by PlatiOnline. We do not store card data.
Purpose of processing
Your personal data will be used exclusively for registering and managing participation in SpeD 2027, issuing invoices and receipts, sending event-related communications, and fulfilling legal and accounting obligations.
Data retention
Registration and invoicing data will be retained for the legally required period under Romanian accounting regulations. Contact details for communication will be kept until the conclusion of SpeD 2027, unless you explicitly consent to being contacted for future editions or related events.
Data sharing
Your data will not be sold or passed to third parties. Limited sharing applies only to payment processing via PlatiOnline and legal requirements to Romanian authorities.
Your rights under GDPR

- Restrict or object to processing.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).

The organizers of SpeD 2027 reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this website and take effect immediately.
